Our blended soil is a blend of 70% screened soil and 30% organic compost.

Ideal for us in garden beds and lawns

Commonly known as reclaimed garden soil – this is an affordable, screened soil product made from recycled organic and natural materials. It may contain some small stones and varying organic content.

Uses: Ideal for cost-effective landscaping projects, such as filling, leveling, and rough garden beds, where high nutrient content is not essential. Often used in large-scale earthworks and areas requiring soil replacement on a budget.

Commonly known as screened topsoil – this is a finely graded organic soil product, typically free of large debris and clumps, with a smooth, workable texture.

Uses: Ideal for use in landscaping and gardening applications, it supports healthy plant growth due to its rich organic content. Commonly used for turf underlay, garden beds, lawn establishment, and general soil improvement.

Due to Sacyr Environment Australia products being 100% recycled, the material received through our collection streams are variable, which can in turn alter the exact characterization of the product from batch-to-batch run of production finished product available for sale.

 

Our feedstock material is sourced from the city councils of Bayside, Kingston, Monash, and Casey, as well as food wastes collected commercially from supermarkets, fruit, vegetable markets, cafés and restaurants.

Our Veggie Mix is a blend of 1 part Blended Soil and 1 part Organic Compost, designed specifically for growing vegetables in traditional gardens, raised beds or containers.

 

Using Veggie Mix in raised beds or containers can eliminate problems with poor soil conditions or soil borne diseases.
